Zangetsu is much thicker than that.

A friend of mine works in the licensing bureau here in Seattle, they're still working on how to do the licenses for pot retailers.

It sounds like they're just going to be a lot like liquor licenses... same restrictions on minors, etc.

Q: Is there any alchemy-based transportation in FMA?

In FMA, cars and trains are shown, but they seem to be regular early 1900s cars and trains, similar to those that existed in the real world at that time. @ton.yeung The problem I have with BL and most romantic series is the fact that the story is entirely driven to quickly get to a point of romantic intimacy. With the Yaoi I've tried, the first chapter usually already boils down to one dude wanting to plug the hole of the other. It's terrible. I wouldn't mind a BL story if written as beautifully as a lot of Yuri is (e.g. Girl Friends, Aoi Hana, Sasameki Koto).

Word of advice; don't go into Girl Friends or Aoi Hana with expectations of a lot of sappy intimate moments. I can count the number of intimate moments of each series on one hand :P

Q: What are the governmental structures of the countries in FMA?

The countries in FMA all seem to have different governmental structures. Amestris seems to be militarily run but I thought I saw references to some sort of Parliament. Xing seemed to have tribes but Ling is also the Prince. Ishval seemed to have some sort of set of elders, though I wasn't sure ab...
