@GraceNote Seeing double is the act of forcing yourself to look at something but not orienting your eyes for the correct distance. Crossing your eyes is doing the same exact thing, except the distance you choose is really close to your face. It's the same act, but crossing your eyes is just a more extreme version of it. Think of seeing double as just "crossing your eyes a little bit".

Something quite profound is sticking out in the middle, above what I parse as a mouth and what I parse as the eyes. I can only assume a nose, as it also sticks out farther than the other components.
@OrigamiRobot I was very hit or miss before I realized that tiny animation at the start was not the full extent of the video and thus hitting play was actually pretty necessary.
@RonanForman To mess up your expectations. If all you see so far are fake smiles, even in genuine ones, display just genuine ones from that point on. This way your "chance to spot a genuine smile as such" can be more precisely determined.
@badp Still undergoing training. Apparently to pass this stage of the training you have to clock a certain number of kilometers, which means for the next three days I'll be taking a truck and literally driving it to the end of the island on the expressway, make a U-turn and go back again
I mean, you are on a straight street and you just kind of press on the accelerator - or put the pedal to the metal and rely on the automatic built in speed limiter
(I dunno, truck regulations in Europe are rather strict)
@GraceNote Nope. We literally get to within two kilometers of the expressway end, get off, do a U-turn under the expressway, and go back the exact same route

@fbueckert I believe it is a completely valid answer. Some questions don't have the answer the user wants. I do pretty much agree with your second point though, which is why I don't like most tech support questions
@fbueckert The problem is once in a while there's one that's so common it applies to a lot of people and is truly useful, and separating the two is highly subjective
@StrixVaria No, that's not what I mean. When doing statistical displays for non-uniformly distributed items (in this case, humans) over an area (or time, for that matter), you have to display the results in values relative to the local density, not in absolute terms. If your result "heat map" looks like the population density ... you might be doing it wrong. Just need to check that.
This one, though, is, "I barely meet the system requirements for this game, but I want it to run better!". The only real answer is, "You're SOL for your current hardware, dude."
@StrixVaria But I would expect that the dialect of a place that is only half as far away would be closer to yours then the variant of a place a whole continent away.
@Arperum I'd say it's more to do with the fact that people from California are more likely to associate with people from New York City than they are with people in Arkansas, due to more similar lifestyles and interests. Geographical distance barely matters anymore.
@MartinSojka Tons of people from the NYC area retire to southern Florida when they get old because houses are cheaper and taxes are lower and weather is nicer.

@MartinSojka In any case, it tried to narrow it down to specific towns aside from the heat map, and got a bunch that are really close to me. So maybe the heat map isn't the best representation of the data, but it's still a fun experiment.
