@Chronocidal Who took it from there, then, and buried it with Dumbledore? One of the Death Eaters was bound to have taken it as it would have been a sign of embarrassment against Dumbledore that the greatest wizard on Earth had his wand taken by a schoolchild...

@Voldemort'sWrath What, popped down to the bottom of the Astronomy tower during the midsts of a raging battle, when only Draco even know it was there AND was too busy running from an enraged Harry Potter? Considering that Dumbledore's body followed it soon after, why didn't they take that too to parade around?
@Voldemort'sWrath Since they didn't even know that the Elder Wand was real, your claim about "why wasn't it taken" applies to whatever wand Draco did disarm him of, regardless of whether or not it was the Elder Wand. Please stop clutching at straws: it may-or-may-not have been the Elder Wand, and the books contain no evidence either way.
