25 Mbps FROM a deep space spacecraft at 225,000,000 kilometers from Earth almost sounds like it can't be true. I wonder how many photons per bit that is.

they used the Hale (Mt. Palomar) telescope to receive the signals, but his is also an interesting development - simultaneous radio and optical receiving from the same spacecraft.
