@PearsonArtPhoto Your video is excellent cubed! Wow this is really professional and your explanations are crystal clear. What a joy to watch!
Why thank you:-)
I'm slowly starting to get the hang of this YouTube stuff:-)
I think you've nailed it!
Perseverance is out of safe mode, BTW.
Oh that's great news as well. You are pretty confident about that happening in your video, :-)
Once I read the press release saying they had good two-way contact and were pretty certain they understood it I was pretty confident.

Oh something funny happened while I was watching. The video broke to a commercial perfectly, mashing up the beginning of your sentence with Chris Hadfield's: "All that being said, to fly a rocket ship you need to be an optimist."
LOL.
Some day I'm going to get that course. Some day...
Then you can write a better (or at least more thorough) answer to What does S represent in Chris Hadfield's D = ½ ρ v² S?
I've downloaded the paper linked under your video, but it doesn't have any pork chop plots in it. Did you generate those yourself with the EasyPorkchop website?
There's a link in the description to the site I used.
There are some pork chop plots in there...
They are just a bit more confusing, combining two of them with the MRO/ DTE communication windows, all in one graph.
It took me a while to find something clean enough, but that tool does the trick!

this is the first time I've actually understood what a pork chop plot was! I'd always assumed that it was complicated, but after seeing your video it makes total sense. Thanks!
