hi all! I asked a question in the GMAT forum about the use of SPICE ephemeris, do you think it's worth it to copy it in SE? forums.gmatcentral.org/…

@astrojuanlu I don't know if there's an established rule, but asking an SE question that says "this is a copy of a question I've just asked somewhere else at the same time" might not be well received, though mentioning it here is great.
If you can think of a similar and or related question that is still somewhat different, I think that would be better, and then you could add a link to gmatcentral and mention there is no answer to that question either.

Q: What's the largest aperture telescope sent beyond the Earth-Moon system?

uhohThe question and answer about telescopes sent to different planets got me wondering. There are so many solar system bodies that have been photographed by deep space spacecraft, planets, dwarf planet(s?) moons and rings thereof, comets, asteroids... I always imagine that these instruments look r...

Have I accepted the wrong answer? Wouldn't Kepler in fact be the largest? This was two years ago and I don't remember the sequence of events any more. Shouldn't the answer by @Hobbes be the correct answer?
