@Cerberus No, why should had there been?
Is it ugly to your taste?

@CowperKettle I thought many Russians were protesting against new large buildings being built in the inner cities.

As of this month, May 2021, the world has reached 419ppm of atmospheric carbon dioxide — by far the highest levels in the 10,000 years since humans invented agriculture & in the 3+ million years modern humans have existed.

hi, I just need a quick clarification on the policy definition. I have a sentence here: growth will be achieved in a sustainable manner, without cost to future generations, through initiatives such as building alternative energy generation capacity and conserving our environment to promote eco-tourism. Is "...through initiatives such as building alternative..." this part a policy?

> A Dubai-based project described as the “first industrial scale, solar-driven green hydrogen facility in the Middle East and North Africa” has been inaugurated, with those behind the development hoping it will help catalyze the region’s renewable energy sector.
Nice. We shall see in several years whether it pans out.
I hope it does.
Will there be hydrogen-fueled cars on the streets, I wonder.

@CowperKettle I'm kinda skeptical because they tend to be vanity projects.
Hydrogen fuel is so inefficient.

@M.A.R. try telling that to the sun

@MattE.Эллен sorry, can't make heads or tails of British newspapers
But that would certainly explain the quality

@M.A.R. I'd say hold it up to The Mirror, but by The Times you managed it someone could have Telegraphed a better explanation.

Bro do you even science, you can't put hydrogen in front of a mirror

I've never scienced in my life, and I'd thank you to keep such accusations to yourself!

Is conscience with science or against it? Discuss.

2:49 PM
It's just a con

That's not very scientific.
Off on my ride. Laterz.

3:32 PM
@Cerberus Yes, but I have not heard anything about this particular building. There are too few active citizens to protest every building

3:43 PM
A pity.

In Yekaterinburg, a covid vaccination station has been opened in the Circus building. They will give free tickets to circus performances to people who come to get vaccinated takiedela.ru/news/2021/05/21/cirk-za-privivku
A very nice promotion.
It has been 20 years since I last visited the Circus
I like the shape of the dome.

@Reg: See if you can guess the identity of the bald head sitting two seats ahead of me on my way from ABQ to LAX.
Hint: He was conversing with this actress from the same show:
Or should I say "shows"?

@CowperKettle So why is that?
What percentage of the population has been vaccinated?
