Is it okay to ask for some grad school advice here?

I'd like to apply in theory but I have no theory coursework (beyond the 3rd year algorithms course, so no complexity, computability, game theory, or approx algorithms), I'm in an engineering degree and none of these are offered. I have some research experience, but it's in another area (and my next summer internship will probably not focus on theory either). Is there any hope? I graduate next year (2020).
