Above is a post where I think it would be useful to have PostGIS visit and up/downvote answers to try and get the best current answer to float to the top, and to drift any outdated answers down. I suspect that the currently accepted answer may no longer be the best answer. The asker of the question still seems to be active on the site, but if he were not, then be aware that a movement to try and prevent accepted but outdated answers being stuck at the top forever has been gathering steam.
I often see complaints about highly voted answers (an indicator of community respect) appearing below an accepted answer which may have far fewer votes e.g. Shouldn't the answer with more votes be above the accepted answer?
