@jjepsuomi
A few notes on your categorization:
- LiDAR and Laser Scanner are the same thing. And both are considered optical (usually everything from UV to IR is considered optical, though it's nothing set in stone and different authors may think otherwise)
- For the same reason, Thermal scanners are usually bundled into optical, since it's just a low-energy IR
- Imaging spectrometers could definitely be put in Optical as well, though I'm not familiar enough with it to say that it could not also be put in Non-Optical
- Radiometer, despite its name, measures IR and UV, and is thus optical as well

Hi @RobertoRibeiro, thank you very much for your help! =)

As for addition, I'd put Sonar (active non-optical), Electric Resistivity (active non-optical), Seismic Refraction (active or passive non-optical)
No problem. Good luck with the presentation ;)

Thank you so much! :)
I will add those methods to my table
Yes I was going to mention in my presentation that these categorizations are not so rigid and some technique could belong to more than one categories
