@Peter can you find a semi prime of the form $n^n+n!$ with $n \gt 7$?

For such a semiprime, $n$ and $n^{n-1}+(n-1)!$ both must be prime. I am searching for an example.

7:59 AM
@Mathphile No semiprime for $7\lt n \lt 4\ 300$

3 hours later…
10:32 AM
@Mathphile No semiprime for $7\lt n\lt 8 200$
@pantareis I would have two projects for mathphile's conjectures : (1) Factor 2^3315+3315 $(2)$ Search a prime of the form n^(n-1) + (n-1)! for n prime (which gives semiprime n^n+n!)

10:45 AM
seems like Enzo Creti is very busy these days

11:02 AM
yes, seems so
I passed 8 600 , no further example.

11:33 AM
okay
i'll search for semi primes of the form $n^n-n!$, $n \gt 7$

5 hours later…
4:11 PM
@Mathphile Where did you arrive ?

4:39 PM
@Peter program hasn't ended
(22:07) gp > forprime(n=1, 10^4, if(ispseudoprime(n^(n-1)-(n-1)!)==1, print(n)))
3
5
7
71
151
157

Ah, you chose $n^n-n!$, but I think $n$ must be prime in this case as well.
Why don't you use yafu for the search ?
Just create a textfile with these lines :
ABC2 $a^($a-1)-($a-1)!
a:primes from 100 to 100000

@Peter i haven't downloaded yafu
can pfgw be used?

5:02 PM
sorry, I mean pfgw

-f100 ?
@Peter?

5:26 PM
yes

6:05 PM
I cannot go to factordb at the moment - strange.
@Mathphile
