@caseyr547 I removed the entire offending sentence from that answer, and I should apologize for being a .... stinker. I'm assuming you realize why I threw in a Truth/Falsehood statement like that. It was underhanded and sneaky, but it illustrated the point I've been trying to make. Even you, who had just made a comment about debates in chat being against guidelines got sucked in as soon as your belief was labeled as heretical.
It happens every single time we stray from the Truth guideline. People fight, get offended, etc. Every single time.

@DavidStratton I was not offended and there were no debates in comments. Your statement was factual inaccurate about the prosperity doctrine. I used the comments to point out the factual inaccuracy which I think thats what they are for.
It caused a wonderful conversation with SSumner in chat. Debates in chat are fine thats the purpose of chat debates in comments are not. My idea is if you want to call someone a heretic thats between you and God but if you want to say everyone calls some idea heretical that can be proven false.
you can see my conversation with Caleb in the upper room where we debate the phrasing of his response to the question about who muslims worship

@caseyr547 This was a good conversation between you and SSumner. I enjoyed reading it, and learned a bit, which is why I love a good debate in chat. It also gave me some good ideas for questions about the Word of Faith perspective, about which I am genuinely curious, but it seems we've been butting heads over the Truth issue and I didn't want to make it seem like I'm singling you out.
At any rate, I'll genuinely try to restrain myself, and not to try to convince you on the Truth issue.
Your contributions on the site are really quite good overall. I've enjoyed reading them. The fact that I have a hard time letting go of some things is a personality flaw I struggle with on a reoccurring basis. I keep having to remind myself to let things go, and that I'm not always right. I'm sorry I rode you so hard, truly. Its my utter conviction that I'm right on the issue (when I could be wrong) that drives me, not anything personal about you. It's my flaw, and I'm sorry I rode you on it.
