A: How to acknowledge project failures but still emphasize my technical abilities in job interviews?

BVRI have figured out How to handle this. Of course the other answers provided to this question also helped me to come up with this plan. Usually while talking about my failure I highlight: Explain the skillset, expertize and maturity levels required and that I had and describe the gap. How muc...

I downvoted because of How other team members and others handled the situation and how they impacted along with me - This stinks of point the blame at others. I do not know how to stress enough how bad of an idea this is. This will make you look worse not better. An interview should be about what you did talking ill, or even less than positive, about someone else you worked with makes me wonder what you would say about working with me at your next job. And why you feel the need to denigrate someone I will probably never meet.

@Chad: The idea is it impacted not only me and others also and not to blame others. I have edited my point. If still it doesn't convey my idea your are welcome to edit that point.

An interview should be about you not other people you work with.

@Chad: This question is not only asked in Interviews but also asked by current project managers also when context occurs as that client is most prestigious client. Many people are curious to know why I have been released from that client.

@BVR - Yes but it is about why YOU have been released. It is not about the people you have worked with.

@Chad: It also impacts others also. Some of them quit and fine other jobs. Some of the higher management went on leave and others transfered to other departments.

@BVR - Your interviewers are not interested in them... they are interested YOU bringing them up looks very bad on you.

@Chad: I am afraid that if I don't add this point others can not see the issues other than me also like issues in planning, designing and some of the management decisions. There is a danger that they mistakenly see the entire problem in me. It is harmful to me. I would like to convey that I am neither source of the problems nor worsen the situation. What is your opinion?

BVR
@Chad: I dis-aggree with you. I am not blaming others and I would like to convey it also impacts others as well me and I am not root cause for the problems in project. You please understand this and provide answer if you can.

It does not matter if you do not Intend for it to come across as blaming others. That is how your inteviewer will likely take it. There is nothing to be gained by this and alot to lose.
To anyone listening to you Its not my fault = Blaiming others
