the inevitable happened: sr.ht requires a paid account for automated builds
ngn/k has a new home: codeberg.org/ngn/k

3:43 PM
just a traaavelin' repository
wandering with the seasons

ngn
:D

What does codeberg promise?
Also have you tried the tildeverse hosting service

ngn
4:09 PM
@Razetime nothing in particular. it's just a nice repo hosting service, though not as minimalistic as sr.ht
@Razetime tildeverse.org ? no, i'll have a look. thanks.

@Razetime what's the advantage of being part of the "tildeverse"?

Tildegit looks like it won't ever have a pricing model

@ngn not because drew is greedy; he did it because people were abusing the free CI service to mine bitcoins. Not that the reason makes a difference to the fact that now it's a paid service....

8:50 PM
@ngn did you try docs.codeberg.org/codeberg-pages for your wasm version?

ngn
9:04 PM
@beagle3 if i understand correctly, only builds.sr.ht requires a paid account and the rest will remain free for now

@ngn I don't use it myself, but he has a post explaining the reasons the free build/ci service is gone. It's likely going to happen to any free build service - as long as there's money to be made from mining, it will be abused.

@ktye i've been using codeberg's "pages" for other purposes unrelated to k. they should be ok for wasm hosting too, but i'm not sure what to do with all existing links to bitbucket, so i'd rather keep using it for hosting wasm. who knows, i may have to jump hosting services again after a couple of months..

@ngn the cgcc link still points to sr.ht

ngn
@ktye which link?

@ngn when pressing the cgcc button in the editor

ngn
9:15 PM
@ktye ah, i see. i'll fix that. thanks.

9:26 PM
