@StevanApter The reasons I play with open source k clone(s) is a) to learn, b) toy with the idea of extending the semantics, c) toy with the idea of alternate syntaxes. I learned a bunch by treating k3 as a black box and musing about its implementation from its behavior but that only goes so far.

@bakul: if performance isn't at issue, why not use k itself to implement extensions?

@StevanApter enchilada - you say "exciting", but is it popular? in order to be successful, a language needs users
