@Sparky256 There's a difference between "Protected", which prevents people with less that 1 site reputation from posting, and "Locked", which prevents any changes to the post at all.
We very rarely Lock posts, but if a post is getting a lot of answers we may consider protecting it. It looks as if that post has really only gotten one "Thanks" post, so I don't really see a need to protect it at this time.
