@Grimmy Something else I wanted to ask you: There are plenty of questions on CGCC that can be answered in ECMAScript regex using logarithm, but you never made a post about your base 2 logarithm regex. Yours is the shortest, so it wouldn't make sense for me to make a post using mine, but it also wouldn't feel right for me to use yours in my own post when you haven't even made one post using it.

So would you like to post a Regex (ECMAScript) answer for base 2 unsigned integer logarithm? Or do you give me permission to make a post using your regex?

@Deadcode sure, you 100% have my permission to post that! i’m busy with game dev at the moment so i don’t have time to write up an explanation for it (plus i haven’t done mathematical regex in a while, so i’m not sure i’d still understand how it works)
