Hi, i am new to Stackexchange. Wouldn't it be fair to comment why something gets downvoted?

I think we will have many Stackexchange Newbies and a comment would help to understand the system.
I.E. i don't understand why this question got downvoted

There's nothing to do about.
If you hover on the downvote button it will say "this question is unclear or not useful"
That means that the question if it's unclear or not useful, or both.
It's also that people might also close first then downvote
