So the op says it's a contract job. Would it be correct to say that contract jobs aren't the same as freelancing or being self employed?

When I got a contract job, it was a temporary position where I worked for the company. I was an employee through a temp agency, but I wasn't self-employed.

By this logic, I support keeping the question on hold.
