Howdy, @joan
sorry to bother you...
One of your answers has been flagged "All of the links in this answer are broken, rendering the answer useless."
as it would seem the link to your website as listed in that answer was .co.uk whereas it is .me.uk now
so I have taken the liberty to change that answer
but that made me thinking whether the switch of domains is permanent or not

Yes, the change is permanent. All the abyz.co.uk links should now be abyz.me.uk. I made the change about a year ago thinking it was plenty of time to update various pages but (remarkably) I completely forgot about the pages on this site.
p.s. thank for making the edit.

so we probably need a bot to change like 2000 answers now

It would be nice to know how many affected pages there are. Is 2000 a guess?

yes, that's my guess
you have about 1900 own answers
make that 1500 containing the link; add a few hundred third party answers citing your work ;)
I'll investigate if there is a tool to automate this

Hopefully. I can't believe this is the first time this has happened.

ok, google this "abyz.co.uk site:raspberrypi.stackexchange.com" gives 717 results

I actually get more hits for abyz.me.uk (824 for me, 579 for co).

9:17 PM
Community managers told me to send a mail, looks like they can sort that out in the backend
so the important question is whether "abyz.co.uk" to "abyz.me.uk" is the only change...
I take it that the site structure remains the same
is there anything to say about http or https?

That's good. The site is http and the site structure is identical so a global edit of "abyz.co.uk" to "abyz.me.uk" should be all that is needed.

I will tell them, don't expect it to be faster than six to eight weeks though ;)

Thank you for noticing the problem and sorting it out.

no problem, we'll see how this turns out
