maybe try posting on codereview? — experiment unit 1998X 37 secs ago
@experimentunit1998X: no, I think that this question would be closed for lacking focus also on CodeReview. — Hovercraft Full Of Eels just now

IMHO this is a code review request which does not fit the SO scope. This would better fit at Code Review Stack Exchangetacoshy 22 secs ago

Q: Deletion of nodes of degree <=1 from a Python igraph graph

Louis CottereauI have a working way of deleting all vertices of degree less than 2 in a graph until no more can be found. But my solution has a significant issue which is that it calls Graph.delete_vertices() for each iteration. This call is very slow on igraph Graphs because igraph is quick on queries but slow...

Q: Performance issue with a dom manipulating that i called Framework, probably not i created recently

ahmed qoreichi I'm building a framework like this that can turn sass-like code into css, a template engine like Mustache, a DOM manipulator like React, and a router to add a single page app, and I'm having a performance problem, I need some help to get it running quickly and maybe some code refactoring if poss...

Q: General bytes to number converter (c++)

Sam CoutteauI've written a bytes to number converter for cpp similar to the python int.from_bytes. It does not make any assumptions on: The endianness of the input buffer The endianness of the system The endianness consistency of the the system ( = no assumption that all numeric types have the same endianne...

Q: First attempt using Rust, to create a simple API backing onto a JSON file

TMHI'm trying to learn Rust, and have taken a stab at it by create a REST API, that stores the data in a local JSON file. Before I get deeper into things I'd like some feedback on if I'm doing things in a "Rusty" sort of way, or if there's a better approach to what I'm doing. https://github.com/TomH...

Q: SNTPv4 server based on rfc 4330 in C++

arcomberPlease review my SNTPv4 server based on rfc 4330 I tested running 3 instances of ntp-check.exe from Galleon systems and 1 instance of Microsoft w32tm - w32tm /stripchart /computer: No crash! This is a Linux implementation. The socket layer uses UDP and select. Points of interest: Use of a callba...

Q: Implementing a `concat` range view using C++ std::ranges

Rob NThe code below is my first attempt to create a concat "range adapter" using C++20 ranges. It compiles and runs with the latest Clang. The little test function creates a few different types of ranges, and passes them to concat to create a single concatenated view. It prints the result, as expected...

AFAIK using tap is even worse than what is shown here, since it can't do anything but producing side effects. It should be used for debugging only. About my question, it is about good practices and bad practices, maybe I should have asked on code review — Aldian 55 secs ago

I don't think there is necessarily a "correct" way to do this, so this question might be closed as opinion. One way to do it is shown here, where you keep an object full of class constructors, and then Nums only creates and uses instances when getNums() is called (and I made that public instead of protected to demonstrate it being used). So how should we proceed here? This feels more like a code review question and therefore not particularly well suited for Stack Overflow. — jcalz 54 secs ago

@jcalz Actually this would be off-topic on code review because it isn't real code from a project. — pacmaninbw 50 secs ago
I'm not suggesting it be moved to codereview.stackoverflow.com, only saying that it's not really well-suited for here because it is taking working code and inviting opinions on a "better" way to do it. — jcalz 46 secs ago
