Indeed! Thank you @sabik for the code review and catching this unwanted side-effect. I updated the code to perform a deep copy of List1 first via rhs[key] = copy.deepcopy(value). — Niel Godfrey Ponciano 22 secs ago

Q: looping over variables of heterogeneous type

user1095108These snippets are nothing special, but they remind us to sometimes loop without a for or a while loop. It is even possible to iterate over struct members in a similar manner. template <typename ...A> constexpr auto all_loop(A&& ...a) noexcept { return [&](auto const f) noexcept(noexcept( (...

Q: Longest Palindromic Subsequence Multithread in C

AKRAI'm trying to learn how to multithread with c, and thought that the longest palindromic subsequence problem would be a good place to start. The idea is that we run two threads and compare their results to find the answer. One thread deals with "odd" subsequences, the other with "even" ones. Altho...

ajr-devI've done a script to sort fanfics by the bayesian average of views and rating. I've used views because it took much longer to scrape the dlp website for reviews. That said, we don't accept general review requests here -- a question should be about a specific, narrow problem with a minimal reproducible example that's the shortest code that can reproduce or test for that problem when run without changes. For review of working code, Code Review is a separate site in the Stack Exchange network. — Charles Duffy 1 min ago

Hi and Welcome to SO. please take the tour first. Then read what kind of questions you can ask here and what kind of questions you should not ask here. Note that SO is not a Forum, Tutorial or Guide. Its for developers that already can code but need community help for specific coding issues such as debugging help. @Peilonrayz Feel free to superping me if you are not sure about a deletion option which has to do with code review on SO. Note that I may not always share details as this would be circumventing the privileges system.
Or you could of course ping me or an SO mod in the TL, probably the better more transparent way :)

Not the question to ask on SO (also can't ask multiple questions), maybe better suits CodeReview. 1, what do you mean by properly? does it work? if yes then probably all is fine. 2. take a look at some OOP tutorials, one simply doesn't need self as first argument while the other does. 3. Welcome class is not a container, it just affects the container which is parent so you need to change the parent stuff, DownVid is a window itself (because of inheritance) so it has that attribute inherited — Matiiss 24 secs ago
