Q: blazor: action called from "form" will write cookie but action called from "_httpClient.PostAsJsonAsync()" won't

PabloI have two blazor pages and two controller actions. the first pair page-action works, the second doesn't. My goal is to use the second approach, since the first one is not secure. The problem is, as title says, that both actions do succeed to authenticate the user, password is validated on both, ...

Q: Bash argument parser with support for concatenated flags and '=' or ' ' between arguments and values

Kestrel_This is my best attempt so far at a bash script argument parser written without GNU getopt or bash getopts the first two functions, usage and err can be more or less ignored, but I plan on adding the ability to specify an exit code when calling err. Before you post at Code Review, make sure to read A guide to Code Review for Stack Overflow users, as some things are done differently over there - e.g. question titles should simply say what the code does, as the question is always, "How can I improve this?". Be sure that the code works correctly; include your unit tests if possible. You'll likely get some suggestions on making it more efficient, easier to read, and better tested. — Toby Speight 38 secs ago

@TylerH Well, feel free to move it if you think it is a better match for another SE. I would be glad to do it myself, but my low reputation does not allow me to do so. I am not sure Code Review will accept such a post as the " design " I propose is really just a proposition to solve the problem, so not the core at all. I put here so it may serve as a potential source of inspiration. — Erel 7 secs ago

Q: Pandas-style "indexer proxy" descriptor

@Samridh, the question needs work before it's suited to Code Review. You should have pointed Negin at A guide to Code Review for Stack Overflow users, as some things are done differently over there - e.g. we need a good description of the purpose of the code to give context, and question titles should simply say what the code does (the question is always, "How can I improve this?"). It's important that the code works correctly; include the unit tests if possible. — Toby Speight 36 secs ago

@Mast @Peilonrayz @SᴀᴍOnᴇᴌᴀ How does an OP delete a closed question?

@pacmaninbw By pressing the "delete" button. There's nothing stopping the user except PICNIC
FWIW if there were answers it could be a different story. If there's a positively scoring answer OR (IIRC) there's 3 answers, the OP wouldn't be able to delete the question.
Anyway, it's gone now

It sounds like you're asking for volunteer software developers to do your work for you. Apart from that being a misunderstanding of this website's purpose, I think it's also unfair to prime your question with a call for "developers who have a soul", as if anyone's unwillingness to act as free consultants is a reflection of their worth as a human being. With all that said, there is a site that is possibly more relevant to your request: codereview.stackexchange.com -- if you post there, I suggest you take out the "soul" stuff. — paddy 13 hours ago
I'm reminded of a bit from Jim Gaffigan:
> There’s different sections in hospitals. There’s the Emergency Room, the Intensive Care Unit. Which sound scary, but I don’t know why anyone would want to stay anywhere but the Intensive Care Unit. It kind of implies the rest of the hospital’s like, “Look, we care, but we’re not gonna be a spaz about it.” “I get a phone call, I’m gonna take it, right?” We’re like the Mediocre Care Unit. Which is better than We Couldn’t Care Less Unit. “Those guys are horrible.”

Welcome on StackOverflow! There's alot of work in this interesting diagram.Unfortunately, it is very specific to your needs (so an answer would not help others), it is very broad, and we do not have the requirements so that in the end, the question is opinion based. Therefore, it is out of scope. A better place could be on codereview — Christophe 19 secs ago

I spent an evening there but didn't really get to see anything other than the hotel the tour took us on

Ireland's quite nice. They have lots of houses in rural areas, most of my family live with a massive plot of land around them. In the UK you seem to only get terraced houses :/
@SᴀᴍOnᴇᴌᴀ Huh, was the rest of the tour good? You visiting the UK/Europe in general?

@Peilonrayz It was a literature tour in 2017 my wife and I helped chaperone with 17 high/upper school students
organized by EF tours
we flew into Manchester, ended in London
we saw Shakespeare's house, Anne Hathaway's house, the house of the Brontë sisters... and I got to have some drinks with our Irish bus driver

@SᴀᴍOnᴇᴌᴀ Dang, that's not a small tour you took. Visiting like 6 or so places. I guess you can say you've visited most of England
