Q: why recursive function is much faster than iterative approach

NepNepI have 2 functions to get the n-th fibonacci number. The 1st one uses recursive calls to calculate the power(M, n), while the 2nd function uses iterative approach for power(M, n). Theoretically (at least what I think), they should have the same speed O(log n), but why when I run both, the 2nd one...

Is there even a question? You can use inheritance, interface, or properties to implement the categories. Do that, and if you find a problem, ask them here. Or if you're looking for improvement to a correctly working code, post to codereview.stackexchange.com Oh, don't use int for price, use Decimal — Martheen 7 secs ago

Is there a reason you even need it to be presented as a "table"? It seems you only need to log whatever user did and when they did it. If you put it into a class/struct and serialize the list, you're golden. As it is, your question is too broad, you're supposed to choose a way (serialize the log, write it as string, store into SQL, etc) then try it yourself, and ask on codereview.stackexchange.com if you want some improvement, or ask here if you stumble upon an error. Don't worry too much about "effective", Windows CE devices are powerful enough to do this kind of thing multiple times at once. — Martheen just now

Q: Snake game with C and SDL using linked lists

kibeI am total beginner in C and after reading K&R's chapter 5, I felt I was ready to at least make a simple game using C. You have presented an alternative solution, but haven't reviewed the code. Please explain your reasoning (how your solution works and why it is better than the original) so that the author and other readers can learn from your thought process. But, honestly, there's a lot wrong with your solution. So perhaps it's not a good idea to post it as an answer at all. — Mast 1 min ago

I would suggest shortening your code to just the part where you have trouble with. A minimal working example that's reproducible. This much code is pretty distracting. As for your problem, using the datetime module is the best way forward. You could take a look at the strptime function as described in the last part of the accepted answer in codereview.stackexchange.com/questions/200634/…Cibin Joseph 14 secs ago
"safe" and "more secure" are really vague requirements. Stackoverflow questions should be about a specific and clear problem. (Your question might be better suited for codereview.stackexchange.com but do read their question asking guidance to make sure). — Quentin 25 secs ago

If I down vote an answer, and leave a comment and its RBA am I still suppose to lose that rep point permanantly?

@pacmaninbw You get it back, but the UI is a bit poor

@pacmaninbw You get it back, but it usually doesn't show up as such. The missing rep from the downvote will simply be erased from your history, effectively giving it back.
Technically it isn't erased either, it's masked.
Think of what happens when you downvote an answer, tomorrow the answer is deleted. Day after that it's undeleted. Day after that deleted, day after that...
The downvote is still there.
