Recommendation: Make a small example that runs slower in C++ than in Java for people to pick apart. I'm not sure if the question would be better received at Stack Overflow or its sister site Code Review. I suspect Stack Overflow because what you describe is more "buggy" than the performance/style improvement that Code Review specializes in. Anyway, make an example, see if you can figure it out on your own with the help of a profiler, and if not, ask here. — user4581301 7 secs ago
If you can figure it out, but think there's still room for improvement consider asking at Code review. Yes, I linked to the Asking help pages on purpose. You'll want to read them before posting in order to make sure you hit all of the requirements. — user4581301 56 secs ago

@Lee_Dailey While this may be on-topic on CR, in the future, please don't use the existence of the Code Review site as a reason to close a question. Evaluate the request and use a reason like Needs More Focus, primarily opinion-based, etc. Please see Does being on-topic at another Stack Exchange site automatically make a question off-topic for Stack Overflow?. — Sᴀᴍ Onᴇᴌᴀ 36 secs ago
If the code works, please post on codereview.stackexchange.com. If it does not work, please explain how in excruciating detail: stackoverflow.com/help/how-to-askMad Physicist 16 secs ago
@buran when suggesting users post on CR it would be great if there was also a suggestion like "Please read the relevant help center pages like 'What topics can I ask about here?' and 'How do I ask a good question?". In the current form the code above would likely be closed as off-topic because it is missing context - CR has an increased post size limit so users can provide sufficient context. — Sᴀᴍ Onᴇᴌᴀ 51 secs ago

@Mast did you close that unity post because the code in the question didn't match the code on the 3rd party site?
or because the code looked incomplete towards the end - e.g. // ...

@SᴀᴍOnᴇᴌᴀ Essential parts are still missing.

okay
Maybe you saw- the OP of the accepted answer asked how to make the post on topic, asking if they could add the full code and I replied:
@aepot The general consensus is that "you, as someone who didn't write that code, have no right to do that". You've already helped the OP. Unless the OP deletes the question, you should maintain the reputation you've earned from your answer. — Sᴀᴍ Onᴇᴌᴀ 8 mins ago

He already has an answer. He could just edit it.
If he wants to help with the real code, they can find each other on GitHub or similar.

in those two messages, are the "he"s the same, or is the first the OP of the post and the second the OP of the answer?

They can find themselves a place.
@SᴀᴍOnᴇᴌᴀ Both refer to the OP of the answer.
