[Space invaders game, bullet is not being drawn or moving](https://codereview.stackexchange.com/questions/206909/space-invaders-game-bullet-is-not-being-drawn-or-moving) Asking fo erronous code or not yet implemented.

@πάνταῥεῖ Copying the tags is tedious IMO. How about simply linking the question so it gets one-boxed?

Q: Space invaders game, bullet is not being drawn or moving

ChameenThis is my space invaders game. For some reason, the bullet does not move at all and is not displayed. I have tried to debug it myself but I couldn't find out why it wasn't working. Can you guys see anything that is wrong with the code which stops it from working? Thanks. Code: //This func...

Title, tags, user (hover over the profile picture to see a name) and whether it has an accepted answer all in one go.
I know that's how you lot do it in SOCVR, but let's not make the same mistake twice. If we want to make it easier for people to engage, don't force upon them a format that has more work than it should have.

@Mast The tags are part of the protocol and essential for any scripts essential here. My proposal didn't render as intended unfortunately.
With SOCVR we have a user script that allows to send a message to the close vote along. I can pretty much imagine that this room becomes a valid target (just like the SOCVR or Tavern at the Meta are already).

@πάνταῥεῖ Why are they essential though? The FAQ explains something about the primary tag being required for duplicate targets, but that's it.
Nothing wrong with userscripts, but forcing usage of those is not going to help participation.

@Mast "Why are they essential though?" Because of scripted automation to help the RO's do the house cleaning. Also one boxes aren't accepted well at the SOCVR, for many valid reasons.

Hello there CCO @πάνταῥεῖ

@πάνταῥεῖ I know one-boxes are not allowed on SOCVR, but the FAQ more or less states it's just to keep the transcript clean. Why would we need to keep the transcript clean?
The room should remain on-topic yes.
But the room won't need to handle the amount of crap SOCVR handles. We simply won't hit that throughput.

@Mast I am afraid it will grow. Thus I am proposing a similar model from the beginning.

@πάνταῥεῖ I'm not afraid of growth, but I get your point. Getting there needs a format that's usable though. So, can you tell me what's wrong with oneboxing questions?
I get why offensive comments may not warrant a one-box, although this has never been a problem in The 2nd so far.
I'm not trying to be overly critical here, but when we do this, let's do it right. For the right reasons. With the right format.

@Mast We should at least state valid CV reasons along here. That's what I am mentioning is a protocol. One boxing is just another annoyance regarding bandwidth, and depends on the frequent use of this room.
@Mast Sure, I am trying to figure that out right now. I am appreciating your contributions.

Valid CV reasons should be stated. Definitely. Otherwise it's not much of a request. Just dropping links doesn't work.
Bandwith? It's 2018. I don't know how much bandwith extra a one-box uses over just regular chat messages, but I doubt it's going to make a difference.

That's all you need in a CV request, isn't it?
Currently, in The 2nd Monitor, we do it roughly like that. Captain Obvious posts all questions, and we link to them with commentary.
@Mast Broken
It works.
Doing that in a separate room already keeps the noise out of The 2nd.
Keeps things clear and focussed.
Keep in mind the problem of SO is a different one that on CR.
SO has queues that are practically infinite. On CR, they are not. We don't have to work around the queues. Should we get more people every day in the queues, we can stave off bigger problems for a long, long time.

@πάνταῥεῖ Do they use idownvotedbecau.se on Code Review? Seems like a good use of idownvotedbecau.se/imageofcode

@EJoshuaS No, and CV/DV reasons are different here. TBH I am not a big friend of these links at SO either (anymore).

@Mast A major reason that one-boxes are not permitted in SOCVR, particularly when referring to posts, is that there is a significant disparity in the amount of attention that a onebox calls to itself vs. a static listing of the post URL or post title. If oneboxes are permitted, then everyone that wants their request or message about some question/answer to be seen, basically must use a onebox. That rapidly makes the room/transcript not nearly as readable for people.
The overall goal is to get people to click-through to questions and vote-to-close. This is significantly enhanced by making it easy for the people reading the transcript to scan through things they might be interested in (e.g. posts they have not yet visited), rather than letting people do as much advertising (e.g. oneboxes) as they want for their request.
