I propose voting to close as off-topic any (basic) programming question that is not directly related to Arduino (like, how to merge programs, how to split strings, differences between char, char*, char[] and String ...) On the other side, good questions are like "Is assignment atomic in Arduino?" "Is some function blocking and how to deal with it?" "How to use PROGMEM?" "Does really millis() skip some values?" are welcome.
