Since you are one of the answerers there, I'll ask whether adding the context tag would be reasonable for this questions: Is it a “rule” of Math Stack Exchange that when asking a question, it's never good just to state the question?
This question linked there seems to me as a definite candidate for the context tag: Is it appropriate to close every question that doesn't show efforts and/or lacks of context? (The only question whether it is worth bumping just for that.)

I wanted to make it a big-list question for refering for some undergrad-level users, but I got unsatisfied response, so I think maybe my post didn't obey the spirit of MSE.
