@Fabby hope your appetite is now in bearable measures. I did some research about the private room issue we accidentally stepped into.
Thing is: we are not allowed to have private rooms except for communicating in private with a moderator. Therefore no "normal" user can create such a private room. By this the mod who created it automatically would be the room owner with all permissions.
Normal users should never become owners of such moderator-only private rooms.
Our case it was different. You created the room in the first place, and were already an owner when I turned it into a private room. It was all my mistake - I should not have done this (or only after I had removed you from the owners and added myself as an owner).
AU site moderators would still have had access to that room, and would have been able to moderate and delete it. But I am only a chat mod here. That's why my powers were limited.
Limited mod-powers for non-site chat-mods is not a bug but by design to protect a site's chat rooms. And me not being cautious enough is also only a bug in my design but not on the site level.
