So in vanilla I've used and maintained the same handmade resource pack since probably 1.9

Do you think it would be worth it to try and adapt it for this?

I say "the same resource pack" but it's changed dramatically over the years, and I redid a large part of it for 1.19

In 1.9-1.16, for example, I changed the backround for some ores (gold ore was granite, lapis ore was andesite, etc). When they introduced deepslate ores, I had to back that out because then ores could legitimately have different base blocks

I'm quite proud of the custom furnace model I came up with though. It's 14 cuboids (45 total rendered faces)

All handwritten, too. I didn't use a model generator or anything

Another thing it changes is that sloped rails have six wooden supports instead of four so it doesn't look as weirdly stretched out
