I am so tempted to ask them how two "other users" this month found the Hindi book of his father's who were also doing this problem for fun, this month, did I mention in the last eight days? (That's probably why your a mod and I'm not; I would let this user squirm a bit more!, @XanderHenderson

Math teachers who teach base six arithmetic, or arithmetic in any base besides base ten are mostly pronouncing the numbers like phone numbers, which means that there is a false comparison with base ten.
Teachers should use a pronunciation system analogous to that used for arithmetic and counting in base ten.
Is this a good place to talk about this topic?

How do you write a subscript two to indicate base two on StackExchange?

Solved. It's e.g. $11_2$ for 11 subscript 2
