I don't really want to disturb your conversation, but I feel like saying that Jyrki probably just had an accidental mental slip. I think I have made the same error twice on Math SE (comments or chat), because I just forgot to look at the username. Sorry if this doesn't help.
@user21820 It wouldn't be so much problem if it had been an accident, one cannot control accidents. But Jyrki was 100% sure that user64742 was 100% me. Do you notice the difference? How would you feel if I confuse you with any other user? That's disrespecful. But I will stop arguing now.
@ellisaba I think you are being much too harsh on Jyrki. I've seen the same oversight made by many users, and even made it myself. Many of use do extreme multitasking (on various sites and in the real world), so it is not surprising to occasionally lose track of some context.
