@Omen We actually don't know if hydrogen is the "simplest and most abundant element in the Universe". There seems to be roughly 5-6 times more of nonbaryonic than baryonic matter that we know nearly nothing about. ;) I know, I'm nitpicking but I thought I should mention this before someone trips over it :))
