@SPArcheon I kind of doubt it. Stack.imgur recompresses images that are larger than 1 MB or 2 MB (depending on format), but I don't think that's what happened to those Apple Bloom ones.
It's only a problem for larger images.
Though… maybe. If that's the case, then just compress them to higher quality jpegs on your side before you upload them to Stack.imgur.

if you try to upload a PNG larger than a megabyte, that will happen. so encode these images to a high quality jpeg on your side, where the limit is 1 MB or 2MB or something like that, you can easily fit a high quality jpeg in that, and upload it that way. I kind of forgot because I always pick the encoding details myself, it's got second nature to me.
(for some type of images, 256 color PNG works very well, but for these drawings it won't.)
And yes, you'll see low quality images in my posts, but that's generally because my source image is also low quality, like screencaps from a TV series.
