If anything, it was a remark that yet another user is starting to get tired and post less and less.

So just tell me what you meant to post, not how it was taken. As I'm 1000% sure you didn't mean to offend anyone. :)

Maybe because Yve was indeed depressed a lot in the past? Dunno.. well, what's done is done. Sometimes it's hard to see the line, even in a place that appears friendly for anyone as the Tavern.

BTW, do you think moving the Corner here was a good decision? Got more visitors?

More likely just case of too many rooms on chat.stackexchange.com - almost 1000 (!) rooms.

So nobody can really find this room unless explicitly searching or being referred to it.

That's where MSE is better: all active rooms are visible in one page. lol

look at the transcript, you will see that apparently PPG is fine, MLP is not.

@Derpy so? Still can't conclude that more haters than fans. Just one RO appears to be hater.

@ShadowWizard oh sorry, didn't mean to say that. I just meant that some room can be pretty unwelcoming if you mention "forbidden topics".

Furthermore, MLP FiM has been going on for about... 10 years now. Many fans just moved on to something else.

It's not as big as it used too.

by now, only some of the "most dedicated" fans remain.

Think it is pretty evident if you try to search something like "mlp fan animation" on youtube.

3 years ago you would probably get a decent amount of fan made videos.

If you do that now and order by post date you will notice that 99% of the results are "clickbait" videos that are probably made by spammers to monetize kids who browse youtube.

pretty evident too, since those video are just a miss-mach of poorly drawn lookalikes of many popular characters from random "childrens" show (MLP and PEPPA PIG? REALLY??) put together to try to lure clicks.

somehow, I think they must use some tool to make these.

@Derpy I see. Well, that's sad but not really related to SE. Still think you're seeing the problem bigger than what it actually is, but yeah can see why you feel unwelcome in such rooms.

Needed? Of course not. But don't let one time incident do so much damage, I believe you find some value by coming to Tavern and taking part in the discussions there, even if just to let steam off or have some well deserved fun. :)

I was banned from chat for a week due to something I said in Tavern.... still, learned my lesson and came back.

If the problem is you don't know what the lesson is in your case (I don't), you can still start a 1-1 chat with @Tink and ask her, she's a reasonable person.

Or maybe even ask her to do it via mod messages, so it will be private.

@ShadowWizard Sorry, I think that there is no need for that. I can guess they though I was mocking Yvette because I mentioned ice-cream eating (which, if anything was just a reference to Rarity) while all I intended was to remark that - as I said before - we must have made another user sad to see how pathetic we can be when we try.

That said, I would have totally accepted that - like I said before it is not like my English is something to be proud off, and I have already multiple time taken notice that often apparently things don't read out like I meant.

Just maybe... ask what the user meant?

But I think I have already indulged to much on this.

It is simple, really.

I will just stay here.

(at least, until I grown bored of the chat altogether)
