@thesecretmaster FYI, made a mistake and travelled out of town without turning on SSH on home network... so I won't be able to update any models or anything until probably Sunday night

Ok
Also, something to think about: It's been 10 days since we heard that SE Inc is gonna do their comment thing. Maybe we check in again in a week or so?

I think there was a date somewhere
Hold on

@Undo We don't have a firm release date on fielding the classification task more broadly, but plan to ask for volunteers from moderators, the list of folks who voiced interest in contributing via Jay's recent blog post, and probably a random selection from the research email list we have. I would expect probably... in the next month or so?
'Next month or so' from Jul 12

I still think it'd be worth checking in after ~20 days, because then they'll either say "Later this week", "never" or "when we get to it" -- either of the latter two would mean that we should ask if we can just go forward.

Seems reasonable to me, yep
Pretty cheap to ask, as long as we're not annoying about it

Alright. I think we're pretty stalled right now though. Rec or not isn't that great, and the comment model is pretty terrible.

Which we haven't been. Plenty of social capital left
Rec or not isn't awesome at detecting rec questions, but it is darn good at detecting bad questions
I still need to pull some bad not-rec questions in, bet that would help a lot

The way I'd judge good-ness is "How much of this stuff would I want to be flagged"
Maybe I'll go build feedbacks into Smelly
It's not that hard to do, but attaching AR is a bit of a pain
