Time and time again I find myself wondering about this: reverseengineering.meta.stackexchange.com/q/382 ... anyone here who wants to weigh in with their own opinion?

I am of the opinion that hexrays implies ida but not the other way around. But questions specific to the Hex Rays decompiler plugin should not be also tagged with the latter.
