Based on the election data, it seems that we were pretty neck and neck. It seems that Bjørn has more 1st choice votes. But, then there is this whole 2nd and 3rd choice business. If it's a weighted score with 3 points for 1st choice, 2 points for 2nd choice, and 1 point for 3rd choice, then oddly, I have more points.
I'm happy to go with whatever GraceNote says and I enjoyed running against you Bjørn. :)
Likewise, Michael! I tried running the data in OpenSTV and ironically the "ø" in my last name lead to a runtime error...

If I understood the data correctly, then it seems that you had: 48 first choices, 31 second choices, and 5 third choices.
I had: 44 first choices and 41 second choices.
Yeah I couldn't figure it out based on just looking at the data, but running OpenSTV it says you got 46 and I got 48 (coincidentally 48/46 is almost exactly the ratio of our current reps, 2571/2449)
In that case, congratulations Bjørn!! :)

Thanks... you'd think all those 2nd places would count for something but as we know there's no perfect system

I'm not sure if I understand it, but it seems that this describes how election results are interpreted: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/77541/…

Something like: if somebody ranked the candidates as 1:X, 2:Y, 3:Z, and then X was eliminated for getting too few #1 votes, then Y would pick up a vote
