BTW, does anyone know why Twofish got so many negative votes in the AES competition? I get that it may not get a lot of positive votes due to its relatively lower performance than Rijndael, but I'm surprised that it got so many negative.
Especially since its paper goes to great lengths to explain every design decision.
At least more so than that of Serpent and Rijndael (haven't yet read MARS' or RC4's).

@forest More interesting is the sums of positive and negative. Rijndael and Serpent have approximately the same "ratio"
