@GraceNote Thank you for creating this chat room. Could you please guide us through the rest of the nomination process? What do the candidates need to do next? FWIW, I would like to nominate myself.

@MaskedMan When the nomination phase starts, you'll head to the election page and nominate yourself there. Instructions can all be found on the right side of the page.

Shortly after that, I'll also be posting the questionnaire gathered from the questions submitted on Meta. There's some ties going on near the end so I haven't solidified the question selection quite yet, but once that does go up, you'll probably want to consider filling out a response to that (to which instructions for the process will be in the thread)

@GraceNote Just FYI, these two questions on that questionnaire workplace.meta.stackexchange.com/a/5188/3192 and workplace.meta.stackexchange.com/a/5195/3192 are nearly the same. You might want to consider this when you are preparing the list, if you haven't already done so.

Can we nominate anyone other than ourselves?

@RichardU No, it's a self nomination only process. A requirement of being a moderator is, well, wanting the job. You'll see your support from the populace generally pretty quickly after you post your own nomination.
