Q: How to make a certain folder to be excluded by McAfee

EagerToLearnIn KasperSky I can make an exception for a specific program/folder... with the 'Trusted Zone' feature. But not in McAfee, I can only make exceptions file by file, which mean you have to add to the exception list 1000 times if there were 1000 files in the folder. Is there anyway to achieve thi...

@Ramhound that is not LiveSafe 16.0
and btw the image is about schedule scan, what I want is real-time scan.

LiveSave or LifeSafe. You have introduced an edit that contradicts your original revision. The exclusion list applies to OnDemand and Scheduled scans

@Ramhound sorry, I mistyped, that was LiveSafe 16.0.

So please correct your question.

Thanks, I did...

You should edit your question to include a screenshot of what you do see on the applicable page within the application because I can find absolutely no images of the version your using, but I can also find no evidence, the option doesn’t exist. Please edit your question to include that image.

Thank you Ramhound, but I'm at work now and the computer which has McAfee is at my home...
I will update it tonight, ìf It's okay.

I can’t help you without out that information

Actually I had a chat with McAfee techincal support team
and they said it's not possible
but you know, there's no harm to ask around, maybe someone figured out a way ...

So your asking us a question, you asked the company that wrote the software, why?
the answer to your question isn’t going to change.
Even Windows Defender would be a better choice to software that doesn’t seem to meet your requirements
