@Symposium It's just because
the main chat-room was set up near the beginning of the site. In contrast, I set up this room to hold discussion on basic mathematics that happened to start in the Logic chat-room. I'm not actively popularizing this room, but if you or @student have any basic mathematical questions feel free to ask.
