I gotta preface this that due to COVID, it took me 10 months to read this and I often had over a month between reading sessions

so the earlier parts tend to be a bit hazy

My first thought was that I felt the Sanderlanche felt a bit short compared to his earlier works

though it has been a while since I last read a book with a Sanderlanche, and the previous book I read was Battle Ground by Jim Butcher, which was basically one long fight scene with some calm moments

My favorite 3 moments were:

3: WE CHOSE!

2: Kaladin speaking the 4th ideal and Dalinar accepting it

1: Journey before destination, you bastard!

One thing I don't really understand: After Moash killed Teft, Kaladin was in intense grief. Then all of a sudden Kal went into a murderous rage against the Fused. I don't really understand where that came from

Next up for me will probably be finishing the rest of Arcanum Unbounded

I finished it within a week or two of launch, so I don't remember all of it.

I'll be rereading it shortly before the release of book 5.
