I'm starting NK Jemisin's Broken Earth books. No idea how they will go for me.

@Ash I'm in a weird place on those. I thought they were fine, but a lot of the reviews gush about them like they were just incredible.
Meanwhile I loved Hundred Thousand Kingdoms and most of the reviews are meh.

So far I am just trying to get a handle on her worldbuilding in the Broken Earth stuff, it is a little confusing so far.
