It looks like the lack of votes is still a problem on ELL.
I reviewed a bunch of questions today, and almost none of them got two votes or higher!
Not the questions, not the answers, none, nada.

I haven't been voting as much lately

Me either.
I don't think a stack can be healthy without healthy votes.
Almost all of my recent answers got only one vote. Not that I care very much about my rep points. But the overall picture of the stack doesn't look very good. Just my opinion.
I think the biggest problem is that we have to read before we vote.

Q: What is the deal with voting here?

TheIndependentAquariusWhen can 'the' be used before a name? That is just an example. I have noticed that people here don't bother to vote much. Can something be done about it? Now I don't know which one of those is a correct or more correct answer.

I'm kind of burnt out on reading ELL questions at the moment

nods -- This is my first day that I read more than twenty questions.

No other gave examples or definition either. I feel there's something wrong with this platform, as I'm forced to append thirty dots just to thank or as in this case to answer a dedicatedly tagged "single-word" question, which results in my answer, for the content of which I am responsible, being edited by someone who apparently has nothing better to do than making ridiculous, little changes, keeping a ridiculous form for no reason. "My" answer doesn't convey any more content now than before with the dots. — rednaZ 2 mins ago
They've got a point.
Though I'm sure that there must be a meta post somewhere on some stack explaining why the minimum number of characters in an answer is used.
