Now you will have a folder called nbconvert-master in your home directorie
3. Go to the source folder --> cd ~/nbconvert-master/
And right now you are able to enter the critical commands..
Try with the first command that I've shown:
sudo ln -s nbconvert.py css/ js/ /usr/bin/
If you have followed me from the beginning to the last command without modifying any command, then you have to be able to run nbconvert from terminal..
Please tell me your results (here and in your question).. Good luck!

Hi @Lucio,
I suspect I managed to screw something up in my previous attempts, because i'm now getting an ln: failed to create symbolic link error for each of the three links in question
(The error is file exists for each ln failure)
Also, I've gotten the code via git clone, so my directory is called nbconvert instead of nbconvert-master, but I doubt that chagnes anything
Any ideas?

Do you followed my steps of this room?
Or you are telling me your results with the answer of yesterday?
Also, you don't have to worry by the name of the folder, replace nbconvert-master with nbconvert
@blz Are you there?

@Lucio, The results are from today =)
And yes, I followed the steps you posted in this room
With the one difference I mentioned: I used git clone to get the nbconvert code

@blz Ok, no problem, earl or later we will solve this.. Now try with this:
In the terminal enter --> `ls /usr/bin`
and publishes the output that you get in paste.ubuntu.com and link it here..

@blz Ok, here is what you gonna do:
Remove the links that you created before.. So open a terminal and enter this --> sudo unlink /usr/lib/nbconvert.py && sudo unlink /usr/lib/css && sudo unlink /usr/lib/js
Now, you will do all my steps that I mentioned in this chat (download the source, unzip it, an the commands..).
And please, remember to copy and paste every command that I show you, because is really common that you enter just a single character wrong and then all the process corrupts
