@Rubén No. Please migrate this question back. It's very much a web application problem. The problem manifests itself on the web. Desktops, phones, and iPhones. Emphasis: Web. It's immaterial that the calendar invite originates from an Android phone. android.stackexchange.com/questions/246049/…
Mods: ^^^ Could someone please reverse this migration? @Rubén made an honest mistake.
@JimG. You have to ask Android Enthusiasts mods to close the question there, that will reject the migration.
@JimG. Please bear in mind that questions about mobile and desktop apps are off-topic in Web Applications. Try to replicate the problem using only web browsers.
@Rubén Please READ the question. This question is entirely about the Outlook.com side of things and why Outlook.com failed to properly handle the iCal.
@Rubén As a mod with the power to migrate and close questions, we really hold you to a higher standard of behavior. If you're busy running errands to Home Depot in Saturday afternoon and you don't have time to read questions, kindly refrain from clicking the "migrate" button and let other moderators handle it
☝🏻Mods: Kindly reject this migration. Ruben, who's a mod on the WebApps Stack Exchange, was in a rush this morning and he didn't read the question and didn't understand that this is totally a Web App question.
@Rubén In the future, when you erroneously migrate a question, you should really chase this down with the other mods. Don't force the OP to chase it down. This wasn't my fault at all. It was your mistake.
I've been impacted by a handful of moderators on multiple Stack Exchange sites who take hasty action on content that they don't actually read.
I'm concerned that this type of "hasty moderation" may occur more frequently than many people realize.

^^^ @Rubén I'm gonna talk this over with some folks. But in the meantime, please READ questions/answers before you act. Don't inconvenience users who have taken the time to carefully craft a well-intentioned question.
@Rubén Totally unrelated: Have you ever seen the movie 'Along Came Polly'? Ben Stiller played 'Reuben Feffer'. Great movie if you haven't already seen it. I highly recommend it.
Recently, a moderator erroneously migrated my question.
The moderator admitted that my question was erroreously migrated, but he told me to ask the receiving site's moderators to reject the migration.
That is crazy. I did nothing wrong. Why do I have to chase this question with other moderators w...
