Has anyone ever had their Microsoft account suspended? It asks you to provide a phone number so it can text message you a code that you send back. I'd love to know why it does that. Is that supposed to be some sort of security precaution?
And why does it always say that it can't send a text message to whatever phone number you provide? Is the real security measure supposed to be that the process for de-suspending the account is impossible?
The conclusion they come to is that the solution is to close your account and create a new one. That seems weird. Is Microsoft's system really so broken?
