Hello. Would it be on-topic here to ask for help with a web site? Context: I've been using an online forum since around last March (well over a year). It's airhostsforum.com, which runs (or seems to run) Discourse, which was a software project created by some of the folks behind SE.

However, recently (in the past few weeks) I've been unable to post to the site. I get 403 Forbidden responses. And in some cases I can't even log in. The owner/maintainer doesn't seem very interested. And probably clueless too. It seems likely that it is connected to the advertising network the site is hooked up to.

At one point, I tried to log in with a browser with all config removed, and got a very aggressive, spam-like popup which appeared to be for some Russian browser plugin. It wasn't taking no for an answer.
