This is somewhat putting the cart before the horse, but I've been looking into hosting. From what I've seen, DigitalOcean seems to be the best choice - more for the same price point than AWS. It would be $5/mo to get a server with 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 25 GB SSD, and 1 TB transfer cap. That's really not bad.

The comparable price point for AWS (Lightsail) is $5/mo for 1 vCPU, 512 MB RAM, 20 GB SSD, and 1 TB transfer cap

@Mego OVH might be cheaper but I’ve never used them @minxomat has though

@Downgoat Lower prices, but they charge annually, not monthly. Also slightly weaker packages and not great server locations.
